Hoffman Technologies, Inc. (HTI) was founded in 1997 with a focus on IT related hardware, software, and service projects. Since our inception HTI has worked with various California state agencies, federal agencies, and commercial customers providing them solutions that bring best of breed technologies and best practice services. At the core of our offerings are strong project management skills to understand, design, implement, and support customers' business challenges. HTI offerings have grown beyond IT related projects but much of our legacy still deals with IT.
HTI supports customers with strong project management and services personnel. An example, HTI is responsible for installing and maintaining card embossing and card reader equipment throughout California and Guam for JP Morgan, EFS. JP Morgan, EFS is a prime contractor for the federal EBT (Electronic Benefits Transfer) program. EBT is a program that substitutes debit cards for food stamps. JPM leans heavily on the Project Management and services capabilities of HTI to perform this contract in the State of CA, Guam, and various other states in the contiguous US.
Staffing services are also offered by HTI. An example, HTI provides AT&T with temporary employees all over the United States. Payroll, insurance, background checks, personnel management, and deployment of these temporary employees are all handled by the thorough project management and back office skills of HTI.
HTI is an SDVOB-Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business. Both the State of California and the United States Federal Government Agencies have a discretionary procurement-spending goal of 3% for SDVOB's. The 3% goal flows down to prime contractors as well. An example is the current United States General Services Administration (GSA) Government Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) for SDVOB's that contemplates $20 billion in IT services and product awards to SDVOB's over the next 5 years. HTI coordinates a team of SDVOB partners, as well as relationships with federal primes for this GWAC contract.
